Themes can be divided into figures, landscapes, flowers and birds, etc. Techniques are divided into brushwork and freehand brushwork, and its spiritual core is "pen and ink". Traditional Chinese painting emphasizes that "the nature of foreign teachers, the heart is in the source of China", and requires that "the meaning of writing comes first, and the meaning of painting comes later".

Among the works of China's master of Chinese painting, I appreciate the shrimp painted by Qi Baishi and the horse painted by Xu Beihong best.
