Twenty-one: Not bad.

Spring Festival is children's favorite festival. On the 21st day of the twelfth lunar month, adults will go to the market to buy Spring Festival couplets, firecrackers, lanterns, snacks and meat. Twenty-two: Buy new clothes

On this day, no matter how poor the family is, they will try their best to buy new clothes for themselves or their children. Because the twelfth lunar month is closer to the New Year, wearing new clothes at this time can ward off evil spirits. It means exorcism and good luck, so they will buy new clothes one after another in order to be healthy in the coming year.

Twenty-three: "Sacrifice the stove."

On this day, most areas in northern China call this day off-year, also known as the festival of offering sacrifices to stoves. It is said that this day is the moment when Kitchen God will ascend to heaven and report the good and evil of a family to the Jade Emperor. In order to please the kitchen god, people will burn three incense sticks in front of the idol of the kitchen god one day, and provide fruit, honeydew melon, clear water and horse feed, hoping that the kitchen god will speak well in the new year and live a happier life.

24: "Sweep the dust.

As the saying goes, "On the 24th of the twelfth lunar month, wash and clean the house", because in the ancient belief, the house was protected by gods and could not be cleaned at ordinary times. After the off-year, the immortals report to the sky. At this juncture, they will quickly clean up the cobwebs on the roof and some useless rags at home, and welcome the immortals back.

Twenty-five: "Make tofu."

As the saying goes, "On the 25th day of the twelfth lunar month, tofu is made by grinding", because tofu is homophonic with "Fu Tou", which carries people's wish to pray for wealth and peace in the coming year. Tofu also symbolizes a clean and peaceful life and contains the truth of being a man, especially when the Jade Emperor came to the world, he thought of good weather in the coming year when he saw people eating tofu dregs.

Twenty-six: kill pigs and cut meat

As the saying goes, "On the 26th of the twelfth lunar month, kill pigs and cut meat for the New Year". In the early years, the countryside began to kill pigs on this day for the New Year, because in the past, ordinary people lived in poverty and usually ate meat. Only after the New Year can they have a meal of meat. Therefore, this kind of meat is also called "annual meat", which means wealth in the coming year.

Twenty-seven: Kill the rooster

As the saying goes, "Twenty-seventh, kill the chicken", and there is another saying that "Twenty-seventh of the twelfth lunar month, kill the chicken to catch the big episode", because the homonym of "seven" and "chicken" is "auspicious", and killing the chicken is auspicious, which means good luck in the coming year.

Twenty-eight: Steamed steamed bread

As the saying goes, "On the 28th of the twelfth lunar month, steamed buns are decorated with cakes and decals". Because steamed bread is made of flour, it means that it will be made next year. Because the productivity was low before, there was no baking powder, only flour didn't like bad, so I started cooking on the 28th to prepare the staple food. Moreover, according to folklore, you can't steam steamed bread with fire from the first day to the fifth day.

Twenty-nine: ancestor worship

On the 29th of the twelfth lunar month, also known as "Little New Year's Eve", the folk custom says, "On the 29th of the twelfth lunar month, please pay a big sacrifice to your ancestors", and every household will hold a banquet, which is also the virtue of respecting the elderly in our country to show filial piety.

New Year's Eve means "the end of the poor month". On this day, people should bid farewell to the old and welcome the new. China's traditional folk activities include putting up doors, setting off firecrackers, observing the New Year, giving lucky money, eating New Year's Eve, sending the God of Wealth, etc. The longer you stay up late, the longer your life will be.
