What are bards and bards?

Troubadour is troubadour/trouvères/minnesanger, minstrel is minstrel. The biggest difference between them is that troubadour/trouvères wrote lyrics and music, and could also perform for their own court, while minstrel was only responsible for performing.

1. Minstrel is a hired performer. They started out as palace servants, but after the 11th century, the word minstrel took on the meaning of a performer.

2. Troubadour/trouvères are court poets in the area where langue d'oc is used (southern France) and the area where langue d'oil is used (northern France).

Introduction

The troubadour was a specialty of the Middle Ages. They are all geniuses and talents themselves. They may come from noble and wealthy families, or they may come from humble and poor families. With their own wisdom, they made up many novel stories.

Sometimes I was invited to the lord's castle. The ladies, ladies, and their warriors sat around in order according to their status. Some held their cheeks in their hands, and some lightly kissed them. He gently let go of his weapon, and while he was leisurely fascinated, he listened to him playing and singing with concentration.
