What day is Valentine's Day?
Valentine's Day, (also known as St. Valentine's Day or St. Valentine's Day) is celebrated on February 14 every year, and has its origins in Christianity, and is one of the traditional festivals in Western countries.
China, on the other hand, regards China's traditional festival of Tanabata as Valentine's Day. It falls on the seventh day of the seventh month of the lunar calendar every year. 2021 Tanabata falls on August 14th of the solar calendar.
Meanwhile, March 14 each year is designated as White Valentine's Day, a type of Western Valentine's Day.
May 20 and May 21 each year are also known as Cyber Valentine's Day, January 14 is known as Diary Valentine's Day, December 14 is known as Hugging Valentine's Day (also known as Campus Valentine's Day), May 14 is known as Rose Valentine's Day, June 14 is known as Kissing Valentine's Day, July 14 is known as Silver Valentine's Day (the day when you bring the person of your choice home to be introduced to your parents and elders), April 14 is known as Black Valentine's Day (aka Singles' Day, an unofficial holiday for the birth of an acquaintance.)
August 14 is known as Green Valentine's Day (a Valentine's Day that promotes the spirit of green and fun, a type of Western holiday).
