What are the categories of family atmosphere?

If roughly divided by family atmosphere, modern families in China can be divided into orthodox families, conflict families, democratic families, arranged families and laissez-faire families. Different family atmosphere has a significant influence on children's personality.

Parents of orthodox families are serious, behave correctly, are strict with their children and never praise them easily. The general principle for people and things is "responsibility is more important than Mount Tai, and you like to hide your heart". Because of the lack of pleasant emotional communication, children often stay away from their parents, and they prefer to keep their troubles in their hearts. Some children even have the psychology of superficial obedience, inner dissatisfaction, face-to-face dissatisfaction, behind-the-scenes dissatisfaction and fear of failure.

Parents of conflict families often quarrel. Children in such families have a hard time, so they should always be on guard against "the outbreak of war", or be timid or aggressive, which may easily lead to mental illness.

In a democratic family, parents and children love and respect each other. Family life is appropriate, lively, rigorous and orderly. Parents and children have full ideological and emotional exchanges. Children trained by this family are easy to develop a cheerful, confident and positive attitude and a pioneering, self-controlled and flexible thinking habit.

Parents of arranged families are generally hardworking, love their children like life, care about them everywhere, and obey everything. Unconsciously, children become dependent, have poor social adaptability, and cannot do things independently. Such a family, parents and children are very painful.

There are generally two kinds of laissez-faire families. First, parents are busy with work and entrust their children to nannies or relatives. The other is that parents are more casual in educating their children and there is no consistent standard. It is difficult for children in these two family atmospheres to develop good thinking and behavior habits. Children are generally lively, not rigorous, and have poor sense of responsibility, self-control and pioneering. As parents, we should create a good family atmosphere for our children.
