The beauty of Japanese gardens lies in the ingenious combination of natural beauty and artificial beauty, which embodies the unique aesthetic taste of Japanese people. This is mainly due to the four distinct seasons, exquisite garden design and fine materials in Japan, especially influenced by religion, culture, history and customs. A beautiful garden often reflects the shadows of literature, painting, calligraphy, flowering and tea ceremony, and becomes a masterpiece of art.
1, build a mountain and return to the garden
Also known as "linquan-style garden", it occupies a major position in Japan. It is characterized by piling up mountains and laying stones, digging ponds and painting streams, and cloisters and flower pavilions, symbolizing the miniature natural small world. There are many such famous gardens in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. Among them, Kyoto is an important town of Japanese gardens, and Xihe Temple, Ginkgo Temple, Silver Pagoda, Tianlong Temple and Xueyuan Temple are typical of this kind of gardens. Located in the northern part of Kyoto, the Jinguo Temple Garden, centered on the central Jinghu Lake, has formed a magnificent "mountain garden" landscape. When people enter the park, they walk along the winding path, around the pool and live near the mountain, but when they see the golden pavilion reflected in the pool, it sets off the reality and its charm is quite fascinating. The layout of the park is compact, all the scenery is built according to the mountain, and the winding path leads to a secluded place, which is unique. The flowers and trees in the garden are stacked with stones, and the winding pool is carefully designed by the gardener, which is dense and organic and forms a perfect whole.
Step 2 dry the landscape garden
Also known as "Pingting" or "Shi Ting", it is mainly composed of rocks, with white sand, green trees, moss and bare black stone as the contrast. Its artistic conception comes from China's ink painting, paying attention to distant artistic conception, drifting with the flow, simple and quiet. Most of these symbolic gardens are located outside the study or in the abbot's room of the temple. In a well-preserved garden in the east of Kitakyushu Japan Pavilion, which used to be Matsumoto's residence, a narrow space in the garden was decorated with bare black stone, white sand, dwarf trees and moss to symbolize the nature of the landscape. The white sand in the garden is paved, winding, like a small river flowing through the garden, dotted with pine and maple trees, bushes and moss, winding and patchwork.
3. Tea Ceremony Garden
That is, teahouse garden, which is characterized by simplicity and naturalness. When I arrived in Hakone-CHO, I came to a quiet garden with a cabin in it. Looking through the window, I saw a cobblestone river in the garden, like running water, with clusters of conical shrubs, elegant jasmine trees and deciduous moss. There is a kind of stone "hand water bowl" called "squat", which is a stone basin for washing. There are granite lanterns on the roadside. The teahouse is simple and elegant. The entrance is a low movable door. Famous calligraphy and painting such as "Song", "Bamboo", "Mei" and "Turtle" are hung on the walls of the teahouse. There is a ceramic charcoal stove and a teapot in the teahouse, and there are tea drinking utensils in front of the stove. Hakone-machi tasted tea and appreciated the charm of "Tea Garden".
