Wing Ching Fong Shum Nang Wing Chun Couplets

Yongqingfang Sham Nang Wing Chun Wing Chun couplets are: two banks of red peaches, half a pool of moon, an embankment of green willows, four winds.

Wing Chun is a famous martial art in southern China, with a history of more than 200 years. It is said to have originated in the middle of the Qing Dynasty, and was created by Mrs. Wu Mei, who saw the snake and the crane fighting and was enlightened; and another saying is: Wing Chun began with Yan Yongchun, developed in Liang Zan, and flourished in Ip Man.

In the 1940s, Sham Nang came to Guangzhou from Foshan to promote Wing Chun, which opened the curtain of Guangzhou Wing Chun on a large scale, and in the 1960s, Huang Zhen came to Guangzhou to take the helm of the teaching staff, which made an important contribution to the development of Wing Chun. In order to stabilize the roots of Wing Chun in Guangzhou, Sham Nang established the Guangzhou Wushu Association Wing Chun Association in 1989.

At the end of 2016, Shum brought the "Guangzhou Shum Nang Wing Chun Inheritance Base" to Yongqing Street on Enning Road. As one of the important inheritance sites, he and his brother Shum Dix are working together to spread their father's "Guangzhou Wing Chun". His father, Sham Nang, was a great master of Guangzhou Wing Chun under the tutelage of Foshan Wing Chun masters Zhang Bao and Ruan Qishan, and was known as the "Father of Guangzhou Wing Chun".

Huang Hufang, who was later called the "King of Rice Machine", practiced all the thirteen southern schools of boxing and wrestling since he was a child, and learned Western boxing when he was young, and then studied under the Wing Chun master Huang Zhen for seven years, and then studied under the famous master Shum Neng.

Yongqingfang is rich in traditional cultural symbols, Cantonese Opera, riding houses, Xiguan Daiya, Canton embroidery, Canton color, food, copper art and non-hereditary inheritors, are the "natural textbook" for children to study the culture of Guangfu.
