Wuqiao Acrobatics is a local traditional acrobatic in wuqiao county, Hebei Province, and it is one of the national intangible cultural heritages. Wuqiao Acrobatics is a folk performing art circulating in wuqiao county, which originated in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, flourished in the Han and Tang Dynasties and was popular in the Song Dynasty.

Wuqiao Acrobatics shows human body skills with complete categories and huge program lineup, including juggling skills, camouflage bionic, animal domestication, hard qigong, magic, etc., with more than 1 100 performances.

Wuqiao Acrobatics has its own industry god-Lv Zu Lv Dongbin, which has a complete industry culture system. Known as the "Top Ten Acrobatics Nine Members Wuqiao" and "No Wuqiao and No Acrobatics Class".

Historical origin

Wuqiao acrobatics has a history of more than 2800 years since the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. 1957, in Xiaomachang Village, wuqiao county, a tomb of a northern aristocratic family during the Eastern Wei Dynasty in the Southern and Northern Dynasties was discovered. There are acrobatic performances such as scorpion climbing, belly top, handstand and equestrian on the murals, which shows the development of acrobatic art at that time.
