What are the treatment methods for tuberculosis in children?

When children are diagnosed with tuberculosis, it is necessary to determine the corresponding treatment principles. According to the type, current progress and activity of tuberculosis, and check whether there is active tuberculosis in other parts of the body except the lungs to determine the treatment method.

(1) systemic therapy: First of all, we should pay attention to reasonable nutrition and rest, and the diet should be well digested and absorbed by foods rich in protein and vitamins. Live in a well-ventilated and sunny room. Those with severe pulmonary tuberculosis and obvious poisoning symptoms should stay in bed, and those with mild illness can do appropriate indoor and outdoor activities according to the situation. On the basis of systemic treatment, fully mobilize the disease resistance of children's body, so that special anti-tuberculosis drugs can play a better antibacterial role.

(2) Anti-tuberculosis drug therapy (chemotherapy for short): Anti-tuberculosis drug therapy is very important for the treatment of tuberculosis and should be carried out under the guidance of a doctor. Up to now, there are 12 commonly used anti-tuberculosis drugs, of which 6 are antibiotics, namely: streptomycin, kanamycin, capreomycin, violomycin, cycloserine and rifampicin, and the first 4 are injections; There are six generic drugs, namely isoniazid, sodium p-aminosalicylate, 13 14-TH and 132 1-TH, ethambutol, pyrazinamide and thiourea.

(3) Hormone therapy: Adrenal cortical hormone can alleviate poisoning symptoms, allergic reactions, inflammation and connective tissue hyperplasia. Therefore, proper and early application of hormone therapy can reduce the fever temperature, increase appetite and exudation and absorption. However, there is no specific effect on tuberculosis, and it is not easy to stop taking hormones once individual cases are used. If the hormone is stopped, the symptoms can reappear, and the side effects are great, so it is not suitable for abuse.

(4) Surgical treatment: Surgical treatment is mainly used for segmental pneumonectomy or unilateral pneumonectomy, and sometimes intrathoracic lymph node resection and pleural stripping. Under what circumstances can surgery be used for treatment? These signs are as follows:

① Cavity pulmonary tuberculosis patients who received chemotherapy and the cavity was not closed.

(2) caseous lesions or tuberculomas that are ineffective after drug treatment.

③ Thoracic lymphadenectomy is feasible for extensive caseous changes or liquefaction that is ineffective in chemotherapy, or hilar lymphadenopathy with persistent bronchial stenosis and atelectasis.

④ Pulmonary fibrosis or calcification with repeated hemoptysis.

⑤ After atelectasis caused by lymph node enlargement, it develops into bronchiectasis.

The above four treatment methods can be treated accurately according to the condition and doctor's advice, so as to recover as soon as possible.
