Hanfu is becoming more and more popular with people. What's the difference between modern Hanfu and traditional Hanfu?

Under the background of the national tide, the popularity of Hanfu is getting higher and higher. Most people will think that Hanfu is the costume of the Han Dynasty, but Hanfu broadly refers to the traditional costume of the Han nationality, also known as "Hanfu". At present, there are two situations in the development of Hanfu, one is the restoration of traditional Hanfu, and the other is the improved design of traditional Hanfu, but the traditional Hanfu is too complicated, which is not conducive to modern fast-paced life. For example, the chest-length skirt, which is deeply loved by everyone, is easy to slide down during wearing because of the way of lacing; In addition, the coat of Hanfu has big sleeves, which are not conducive to activities. Therefore, it is imperative to improve and innovate Hanfu in line with the development of the times.

Fabric: ramie, cocoon silk and other fabrics used in traditional Hanfu, jacquard cotton, burnt cotton, brocade cotton, georgette (chiffon), silk crepe, Xiangyun yarn and other fabrics used in modern Hanfu. This series of improved Hanfu designs adopt jacquard silk, bright silk crepe and 30-day chiffon. Jacquard silk increases the texture of clothing, while bright silk crepe and 30-day chiffon increase the elegance of clothing. Accessories are decorated with sequined fringed tulle embroidered lace; Traditional hand embroidery and bamboo tube embroidery are used for pattern decoration on clothing.

Outline: Hanfu is loose and elegant, and the overall outline of the clothing is "T" and "H". The improved Hanfu highlights the human body curve and adopts S-shaped, X-shaped and A-shaped contours.

Style: The basic styles of Hanfu are: top and bottom clothes, deep clothes and long skirts. Among them, the top and bottom clothes are enduring, so this improved design is based on the top and bottom clothes. This style is based on the integration of modern design elements, such as the skirt, melody and collar of Hanfu in Tang Dynasty.

Structure: The traditional cutting form of Hanfu always adopts plane structure design, with discontinuous front, middle and back, continuous cutting of front and back pieces, and no shoulder seam and armhole curve. There is no dart in the body, and the sleeves are sleeve-connected. Four tops correspond to the four seasons of a year, and 12 bottoms represent 12 months of a year. The overall structure of the clothing is "cross-shaped", and the sleeves of Hanfu mostly adopt large sleeves and narrow sleeves. The improved design adopts the combination of plane cutting and three-dimensional cutting. A dart is added to the coat to achieve the waist-closing effect, and the fastening method is changed to zipper. The sleeves are designed with Bouriaud in the Western Roman period. Bouriaud can grow to the ground, with sleeves tightened above the elbows and cuffs enlarged. In addition, the thin chiffon fabric makes the sleeves feel elegant.
