Questions about Tai Ji Chuan.
Yangjiachuan
Yang Fukui, whose real name is Lu Chan, also known as Lu Fan, is from Yongnian County, Hebei Province. When I was young, I went to Chenjiagou, Henan Province, and studied Tai Ji Chuan under Chen Changxing. Chen is honest and selfless, and looks like a wooden chicken. People call him Mr. Memorial. At that time, all the people who fought with Chen Xuequan were Chen people, and there were few people with different surnames. Yang is a foreigner and discriminated against, but he is eager to learn and never gives up hope. Yang has lived at home for several years, but he has no income. One night, Yang woke up and heard a humming sound in another yard, so he got up, climbed up the wall and saw several rooms in the big house, where the humming sound came from. He peeped through the cracks in the wall (the monuments were still there during the Republic of China) and was very surprised to see that the master was teaching his disciples the technique of taking hair. From then on, he peeked every night, and after reading it, he went back to his bedroom, studied it carefully and made great progress. Later, Chen Mingyang dueled with his disciples, and they all lost. I was surprised that Yang was a genius, so he told Yang all his secrets. After Yang returned to his hometown, he passed on the boxing he had learned to his fellow villagers, and many literati learned it. At that time, Yangquan was called Huaquan, or Face Boxing, which was named after its flexible movements.
After Yang arrived in Beijing, many people learned boxing from him. For example, Prince Baylor of the Qing Dynasty was appointed as the teacher of Qiying Wushu. Yang Xingqiang, regardless of school or faction, likes to compete with others. He usually travels around the provinces of North China with a small flower gun and a small package. Wherever he went, he heard people with high skills, visited them and competed with them. Even if someone thinks he is defeated, he will be stronger than it, but it won't hurt anyone. Because of his superb martial arts, he is invincible and is known as "Yang invincible" in the world.
Yang was born in the fourth year of Qing Jiaqing and died in the eleventh year of Tongzhi. Having three sons, the eldest named Kun, who died young, the second named Yu and the third named Jian, can pass on the story of his father. There are many anecdotes about Yang's life. The following are some excerpts for readers' reference.
When Yang was in Yongnian, he once fought with someone on the wall and was defeated by his opponent. He retreated to the wall, unstable and about to fall down. At this critical moment, Yang suddenly jumped up from 23 feet away, grabbed his foot and saved his life, so that he didn't fall to the wall and die.
Yang Shan uses a gun. Facing light things, he can touch them with a gun without making mistakes. When he put out the fire, he poked the wall with the club head to prevent the fire from spreading. He can also shoot an arrow with his fingers immediately without bowstring, which is really a stunt.
One day, when it was raining, Yang was sitting in the room and saw a man coming in from the outside with a copper basin. Before walking to the steps, the curtain was not opened, and his foot slipped on the moss mark and he was about to fall. Yang jumped out, lifted the curtain with one hand and took the man's arm with the other. Unexpectedly, people did not fall and the water was not removed. This shows that his skill is magical, from small to large.
Another day, Yang was fishing by the river, and two famous foreign boxers happened to pass by and walked behind Yang, because they were usually scared by his name to compete with Yang face to face. Seeing Yang fishing, he felt he had a chance. He wants to push Yang's back from behind, push him into the water and damage his reputation. So the two met and crept forward, from the left and right sides behind Yang, and at the same time quickly attacked him. Yang Zao noticed that someone was plotting against him. The two men pushed hard, and suddenly a tall horse stood still, only to see his back hunched and his head hit, and they were thrown into the river at the same time. Yang angrily reprimanded them: today is cheap for you. If you were on shore, you would add another hand. When they heard the news, they swam away in fear.
When Yang arrived in Beijing, a famous boxer, jealous of Yang's invincible name, offered to fight with Yang. At first, Yang refused. People think that Yang is afraid, and he is more straightforward. Yang refused and had to agree. He declared: You insist on hitting me, but please hit me three times first. After hearing this, the Boxer was overjoyed and punched Yang in the stomach. Yang' s laughter has not fallen, and people have been sent out three feet away.
Yu Yang, Mr. Zi Er, was born in the seventeenth year of Qing Daoguang. When he was a child, he studied Tai Ji Chuan with his father and practiced hard all day. Even so, his father didn't relax, so he was whipped and almost ran away because he couldn't stand it. He has a strong personality, is good at Sanshou, likes to give people away, and often sees red guns. People who are shot often fall down three or six feet away. When I was young after work, I had a fight with a foreign boxing master. The man was so strong that he grabbed the wrist after work and wouldn't let him melt. After work, it went cold, and the master was exhausted and hit. I was very proud after work and went home to tell my father what had happened. His father Lu Chan laughed at him and said, "It's a pity that your sleeve is torn. How can you say that you have mastered Tai Chi? " Ban Hou was busy looking at his sleeve, and sure enough it cracked, and he retreated angrily. In the future, he will work hard and practice hard, and his skills will get better and better. It's a pity that he didn't want to preach more disciples, so that he was too high and too little, and finally lost his tune. What a pity. Ban Hou died in the 16th year of Guangxu and had a son named Zhao Peng.
Yang Yi, also known as Mr. San, was called Mr. Lao in her later years. Born in the 22nd year of Qing Daoguang, he also practiced martial arts when he was young. His father was so strict that he urged him all day long that he was exhausted and powerless. He tried to commit suicide, but was found and rescued several times, which shows the hard work of practicing martial arts at that time. His personality is softer than his brother's, and many people learn from him. He taught three kinds of shelves, large, medium and small, and was a great success. At that time, other sects had masters who were good at using swords. When fighting him, he only used dust to defeat the enemy. Every time he fights, many people are arrested by him. Being in the situation of last stand, it is difficult to get close to him. He is also good at using the gun shaft, and any force can be sent to the club head. When he meets someone else's gun, he will fall out with his gun. He can often shoot three or four birds at the same time. What's even more amazing is that he can stop the sparrow in his hand and can't fly away. It may be because birds have to sink their feet before taking off, and then gain momentum before they can jump down. Yang Neng listened to the force of his paw sinking, and then relaxed downward. The sparrow can't fly away because it can't borrow it. It can be seen that his sensitivity and brilliance in listening and changing forces are by no means comparable to others. In his later years, when he was sleeping, he often woke up with his clothes on. At night, the waiter often hears the strange sound of bed shaking from the bedroom. He died of illness in six years of the Republic of China. It is said that a few hours before he died, he had a dream that he was going to die. He called his family and disciples, told them one by one, took a shower, changed clothes and died with a smile. He has three sons, the firstborn is Zhao Xiong, the second is Zhao Yuan (who died young), and the third is Zhao Qing.
Yang was born in the first year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty. When he was seven years old, he studied Tai Ji Chuan. He is strong-willed, likes to attack others, and makes good use of Sanshou, which is the legacy of Naibo and has achieved outstanding results. Its boxing frame is small and rigid, fast and heavy, and compact everywhere, so it teaches people. Because he likes to attack immediately, many scholars can't stand it, so there are few disciples. He is really good at borrowing, cold force, cutting force and volley force. Unfortunately, I don't want to spread it more, so few people know it. Shao Hou died in 1929 and had a son, whose name was Zhen Sheng.
Yang Zhaoqing, whose real name was Cheng Fu, was later called Mr. San. He was born in the ninth year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty. Gentle, I didn't like boxing very much when I was young, and I began to learn boxing from my father when I was weak. When my father was alive, he didn't study the mystery of boxing deeply. After his father died, he woke up, worked hard day and night, and finally gained a good reputation. He practiced all kinds of kung fu by himself. He is really a brilliant genius. If you learn from your father when you were young, you won't be under his father. He is a big man, soft as cotton on the outside and iron on the inside. He is very inspirational and excellent. In order to show off his posture, he taught people to put on airs more, which was quite different from his father's style. Because of his gentle temperament and numerous literati, he is famous all over the country. Mr. Cheng Fu died on 1935. He had four sons, the eldest son Zhenming, the second son Zhen Ji, the third son Zhen Duo and the fourth son Zhen Guo.
In short, when Tai Ji Chuan is mentioned today, people all praise Yang as a milestone in the history of Tai Ji Chuan's development.
