Guqin and Guzheng have a higher position in China traditional culture?

Guqin and Guzheng are both traditional musical instruments in China. The similarity of musical instrument modeling and playing techniques makes the two instruments often compared. Guqin and Guzheng have left deep and colorful marks in the history of China's music development, but these two musical instruments respectively represent two diametrically opposite musical cultural characteristics: "elegance" and "vulgarity". This paper discusses the musical culture of guqin and guzheng from the perspective of musical aesthetics and musical style, and compares the differences of elegant and popular cultural attributes between guqin and guzheng.
