Interpretation of Sun Simiao's "The Name of Health Preservation"
Anger is very harmful, and thinking too much is too harmful to God.
When the mind is exhausted, it is easy to be infected, and when the spirit is weak, the disease will invade.
Don't make it extremely sad and happy, eat well in the season.
Three more nights of drunkenness, and the first one is morning anger.
The sound of drums in the sea and the sound of jade in the yin.
Evil spirits are hard to invade, and essence comes from the whole body.
If you want to stay away from all kinds of diseases, you should always be cautious.
Calm the nerves, be happy, cherish qi, and keep the purity of qi.
Life is alive, and practice is in me.
If we can follow this principle, flat land can be real.
Sun Simiao's "Health Ming" is explained as follows:
Anger is very harmful, and thinking too much is too harmful to God. Mental fatigue leads to epidemic disease, while weak qi leads to disease.
Generally speaking, this section is about mental health preservation, which is caused by anger and liver qi; The injury of thinking, the qi of spleen and stomach; I cried with joy and was in a good mood. Qi governs lung and kidney, and spirit exists according to qi and blood. If healthy qi is damaged, isn't it the "epidemic" and "cause" of the disease? In this regard, Sun Simiao once quoted Ji Kang, a health care scientist in the Wei and Jin Dynasties, in his Thousand Golden Recipes: "There are five difficulties in health care, one is to avoid fame and fortune (this is really the biggest heart disease), and the other is to leave emotions to yourself (this is really a big worry that consumes the mind and hurts the kidneys). The four difficulties are endless (this is also a very nerve-racking job). Five must exist, although the heart is hard to get old, mumbling, chewing Huaying, breathing the sun, can't help but go back to exercise without dying. Five is not in the chest, then the belief is smooth and the morality is complete. If you don't seek goodness, you will be rewarded. Dont Ask For Help's birthday, ask for many blessings. This is also the great purpose of health care. " In this passage repeatedly demonstrated by Sun Shi, the decisive role of emotions in maintaining health is emphasized.
According to Sun Shi's poem, anger hurts the liver, which is a manifestation of people's emotional damage. There is a clear statement in Huangdi Neijing: "Great anger leads to exhaustion of qi, while blood surges." ("Su Wen Angers at Heaven") "Anger leads to anger, even vomiting blood and diarrhea." In other words, qi is born of qi, qi is born of anger, and anger-anger-anger constitutes a vicious circle chain. As Huai Nan Zi said: "Human nature, if violated, will be angry, anger will be full of blood, blood will be full of gas, and gas will be angry." Bai Juyi, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, also expounded the same view in a poem to control anger: "I know that anger is caused by emotions, and where is the balance of emotions?" If you ask about the depth of the disease, you should live with it. "
When you are angry, the corresponding diseases will be born, and the most direct victims are the hepatobiliary system. The disorder of qi and blood caused by anger can cause headache, eye swelling, blushing face, red ears, hematemesis, suffocation and other symptoms. It can even make people faint and fall, so it is not uncommon to die. The story of Zhuge Liang Sanyu in Romance of the Three Kingdoms is a typical case: Zhou Yu, who is hot-blooded, is irritable and easily angry. Zhuge Liang, who knows psychology well, deliberately used a trick to make him angry. As a result, he took down the 36-year-old hero without using a real gun. Cases of sudden anger in clinic leading to hypertension, unconsciousness and even death from cerebral hemorrhage have been reported in domestic and foreign media from time to time. "Qi is the murderer", and the common people's statement shows the serious harm of anger to human health.
According to the investigation of American medical experts, if a person is often angry or stressed, the body will secrete a metabolic steroid cortisol, which will directly damage people's memory and attention to things. Being in a bad mood will also increase the flow of hydrochloric acid in the stomach, affect people's appetite, cause stomach pain, nausea, and even lead to ulcer. Anger and despair are the main causes of high blood pressure, which causes vasoconstriction and leads to a significant increase in diastolic blood pressure. The research of Finnish scientists confirms this. Their survey of 6 16 male subjects found that the risk of hypercholesterolemia increased by 1 6% for every increase in anger or despair. Congestion can be a new cause and cause other more serious diseases. The occurrence of cancer is also directly related to frequent anger. According to statistics, people who are prone to anger among cancer patients are significantly higher than those who are gentle.
Besides, thinking hurts the spirit in Sun Shi's poems. God refers to people's spiritual consciousness, which is one of the main signs that distinguish human beings from other animals, and has unique intelligence and wisdom. The master of the heart is the heart, and there is a saying in "On the Chaos of the Soul Pivot" that "the heart is also the home of God". Thinking is dominated by the heart, just as Mencius Gaozi said, "The official of the heart thinks". When the god of the heart and the main thinking function are in a normal state, people will be smart, rational, agile and flexible, and there will be more opportunities for health and longevity; On the contrary, people will be stupid, rude, slow and stubborn, and the incidence of diseases and disasters will be higher. Practice has proved that all ambitious people, smart people, open-minded people and people who are good at dealing with the world are all "scheming"; And those who are mediocre, stupid, petty and have no friends are more or less lacking in "mind's eye". Obviously, these functions of the heart include some functions of the brain. Confusing some functions of the heart and brain cannot be attributed to the limitations of ancient people's understanding. What is important is how to explore the inevitable relationship between them through this phenomenon. In modern clinic, the correlation of some heart-brain diseases in pathogenesis and the ideal effect of joint treatment of heart-brain diseases make people more and more aware of the indivisibility of the relationship between heart and brain and the scientific understanding of traditional Chinese medicine.
In a state of peace of mind, sufficient blood supply and flexible spirit play make people's internal organs run smoothly, and the small world of the human body maintains a relatively balanced environment, so diseases rarely occur. Once people's inner peace is broken, physical imbalance caused by psychological factors will occur immediately. The focus of excitement formed by various restlessness factors has become the dominant center in people's thinking from time to time, and it constantly manipulates the autonomic nervous system and endocrine system through the role of cerebral cortex, thus producing many diseases. Some people systematically measured the changes of cholesterol concentration of high school graduates who took the exam, and found that the concentration was at the lowest value in the calm state one year before the college entrance examination. In the year of preparing for the exam, the variable value is rising; On the eve of the college entrance examination, reach the highest value; Then, it gradually declined. Such examples are not uncommon in daily life. When a person is in a bad mood, it is often difficult to swallow delicacies, warm beds and soft quilts, fall asleep, laugh and be happy. The resulting diseases are inevitable. Being in a bad mood can lead to loss of appetite, disorder of stool, irregular menstruation, headache, dizziness, palpitation and sweating, insomnia and forgetfulness, and even neurosis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, chronic colitis, hypertension, arteriosclerosis and other diseases, and the consequences are unimaginable.
For these diseases caused by bad emotions, drug treatment is difficult to work, and it is best to use psychological treatment. Huangdi Neijing spoke highly of this issue. In his first book, The Theory of Ancient Naivety, he provided people with a psychological prescription of "calming the heart and deficiency, obeying the true qi, keeping the spirit inside, and preventing diseases", so that people can look at ordinary things with a normal mind, and then achieve the goal of being healthy and not getting sick or getting sick less.
Don't make it extremely sad and happy, eat well in the season. Three more nights of drunkenness, and the first one is morning anger.
In this section, Sun Shi not only talked about the emotional factor "extreme sadness and joy" which was not mentioned in the previous section, but also further emphasized the harm of anger and put forward the warning of "no morning anger". To be sure, these are all words of wisdom that conform to scientific principles. "Only when people have five internal organs and five qi can they be surprised by emotion." ("Su Wen Yin Yang Ying Xiang Da Lun") Emotion is a lot of diseases, so I don't need to spend more time on it here. The other two problems in Sun Shi, namely "eating well" and "preventing night drunkenness", need our attention.
What is an "average diet"? In a narrow sense, it refers to a reasonable diet. Broadly speaking, it is an all-round science including food, clothing, housing and transportation. On this point, Sun Simiao has corresponding statements in his Thousand Golden Formulas and Thousand Golden Wings. Talking about clothes, Sun Shi said, "Clothes are rough, but they can resist cold and heat. Wash it first and stick it with incense. " "Wet clothes and sweaty clothes won't last long, which makes people sour and itchy. Sweating can change clothes, but those clothes that are not easy to wash in a hurry will not make urination worse. Don't take off your clothes when sweating, because you will be ecstatic. You can't wear thin clothes in spring, which makes typhoid fever, cholera and food unnecessary. Its meaning is clear. Clothes are made of cotton, and frequent washing and changing is the basic requirement of hygiene. It is good for your health to use some fragrant products on your clothes. Change clothes in time when sweating to prevent being blown by the wind. You can't take off your cotton-padded clothes too early in spring. The unsanitary or unscientific clothes are the root of many diseases. What Sun Shi said here is in line with modern people's pursuit of wearing pure cotton, washing and changing frequently, sweating with spices, and sterilizing and sweating. Speaking of residence, Sun Shi said: "The mountain is high and solid." "The back mountain is close to the water, and the climate is Gao Shuang." "Living in luxury, greed and forbearance is the source of harm. ""If you have enough food, clothes and sleep, you can keep healthy. "Wise people love mountains, benevolent people love the water and Sun Shi advocate them, which is exactly the same as modern people's standards of elegant living environment, less pollution, more negative air particles and returning to nature.
Sun Shi discussed the relationship between diet and health preservation the most, and was also quite incisive. For example, "Don't make breast meat very rich, it's always better to be frugal", which means "tighten your belt". Mud food is indispensable, but it should be few and fine; "All the gifts are in medicine. Cooking like the law is very beneficial to people ",meaning" vegetarian "and" dipping in soy sauce ",people die less and get sick more"; If you get meat, it must be fresh and it seems to smell. Don't eat it. "Everyone says' eat fresh', and the nutrition of eating fresh food and the harm of stale food are mentioned;" Too much greed hurts the body, and people's stomach will lose weight. Too much is unnecessary. Peng Heng is bound to get cholera if he is short of breath, which means "eating too much". Overeating or overeating will inevitably hurt the spleen and stomach and cause pathological changes; Fish, lettuce, raw meat and fishy cold things are harmful to people and should be cut off frequently, which means "avoid cold when eating". Eating raw food and cold food is harmful to your health. "Salty hurts the muscles, and vinegar (which can be extended to sour taste) hurts the bones, so every time you learn to eat lightly," what you said is' avoid salty and sour', and taste preference is harmful to your health, so you should develop the habit of giving priority to light taste. And so on, it is impossible to enumerate Sun Simiao's exposition on dietetic science. Isn't it enough to reflect the broad meaning of what he called "dietary equality" just by the "three appropriateness" and "three taboos" mentioned above? As we all know, the human body needs a variety of nutrients, including protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, water and cellulose. These substances are obtained through the broad sense of "rice"-food, including grains, vegetables, meat, beans, eggs, milk, fish and other foods. Under normal circumstances, general food can only stay in the stomach for 3 5 hours, and high-fat meat and fried food may be a little longer, but it will be emptied within 6 hours at most. At this point, the stomach began to contract, and hunger also occurred. The normal eating time is generally between 4 5 hours, and three meals a day is a more scientific eating mode. Long-term hunger will cause malignant stimulation to gastric mucosa, affect the normal contraction function of the stomach, cause gastric lesions, and may lead to stomach pain, gastritis, gastric ulcer, gastric cancer and other diseases. If the whole digestive system such as intestine, gallbladder, liver, spleen and pancreas is involved, more and more diseases will occur. Eating too much greasy food and delicious fish at one time will increase the burden on the gastrointestinal tract, lead to accelerated digestion and decreased quality, and diseases such as indigestion, acute gastroenteritis, pancreatitis, cholecystitis, diarrhea and gout may occur at any time. It will also make the stomach swell extremely in a short time, leading to the emergence of acute gastric dilatation, which is very dangerous to life. A survey shows that more than 50% of patients with gastrointestinal diseases are related to bad eating habits, the most important of which is saturated overeating when they are hungry. The harm caused by eating too much and eating cold is obvious, so I won't state it here.
Main and auxiliary collocation, with the main; The combination of meat and vegetables is a scientific diet law summarized by China people in their long-term life practice, and it is also a health-keeping law repeatedly emphasized by Sun Simiao. It is in line with the principle of "five grains for nourishment, five fruits for help, five livestock for benefit, five vegetables for filling, and the combination of smells to supplement essence" (five flavors of spirit) proposed in Huangdi Neijing, and it is in line with modern research. Vegetarian food mainly refers to grains, vegetables, fruits and bean products, which are rich in vitamins, unsaturated fatty acids, cellulose, pectin and trace elements. It has the functions of enhancing the benign stimulation of intestinal peristalsis, promoting the smooth detoxification process of the body, fully synthesizing egg phosphorus and normal metabolism of cholesterol. Vegetarian diet does have the functions of reducing arteriosclerosis, purifying blood, regulating blood lipid and cholesterol, and avoiding body poisoning, so that people can get health from it. However, vegetarian diet lacks high-calorie nutrients-fat, and its lack and deficiency will seriously affect the normal growth and development of human body. From the beginning, the content of sex hormones decreased, which affected the maturity of sexual organs and laid a curse for people's low quality. At the same time, it also affects the metabolism, absorption and utilization of protein, vitamins and other nutrients, so that the body can not get enough nutrition. For example, 80% of iron in human body comes from meat and egg yolk, and 80% of calcium comes from dairy products, all of which belong to eating meat.
Sun Simiao attached great importance to the intake of this kind of food, and pointed out: "Fish and cheese crisp, etc. Eating often makes people strong, dry and moist. " "Milk is flat, nourishing blood and benefiting the heart, giving birth to muscles, making people healthy and moist, with sharp eyes and lofty aspirations. Therefore, children must be provided with normal food. " "This thing is much more delicious than meat." Advocating moderate vegetarian diet seems to be a consistent dietary pattern advocated by Chinese medicine. To put it bluntly, it is impossible for people to grow strong bodies without eating enough meat for a long time. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain the proper position of meat food in the diet structure and control the fat content in the diet at about 25% of the total calories in order to maintain the normal needs of the body's operation.
Weighing the pros and cons, the scientist's conclusive suggestion is that it is necessary to limit the intake of non-meat food on the premise of reasonable arrangement of the ratio of vegetarian food to non-meat food. Animal foods such as chicken, duck and fish are not only rich in fat and cholesterol, but also mostly acidic foods. Eating too much will inevitably lead to obesity, increase the burden of blood vessels, increase cholesterol in blood and increase blood viscosity, which will lead to hypercholesterolemia, coronary heart disease and other diseases. At the same time, the change of blood pH will lead to the impairment of gastrointestinal and renal functions, which will make a large number of toxins produced by amino acids in the process of corruption and decomposition harmful to the body, causing human diseases and short life. According to the standards suggested in the recently compiled Dietary Guidelines for China Residents, the proportion of nutritionally comprehensive diet is that each adult should eat 300,500g of cereal, 400,500g of vegetables,100g of fruit, 200g of fish and shrimp, 50,654,38+000g of livestock and poultry meat, 25,50g of eggs and 65,430 grams of meat every day. When we study Sun Simiao's health preserving thought, we might as well make it more distinctive.
The sound of clouds and drums in the sea, the sound of shadows. It is difficult for evil spirits to attack themselves, and the essence comes from the whole body.
In the Book of Health Preservation, Sun Simiao solemnly put forward two specific health preservation measures, namely "Mingyun Valley" and "Yu Yu Gold", and pointed out their relationship with normal sleep, eliminating pathogenic factors and preventing diseases, and maintaining concentration and concentration.
What is "singing a cloud drum"? Is to knock your teeth. When does the cloud drum ring? It also clearly stipulates the time, "Hai", that is, 2 1 22 pm. In Qian Jin Fang, Sun Shi also put forward the method of knocking teeth in the morning, saying: "Take a pinch of salt in your mouth every denier, put it in warm water, wipe your teeth and knock it a hundred times, but after five days, your mouth will be tight." It can be seen that Sun Shi attaches great importance to the relationship between knocking teeth and protecting teeth. What are the benefits of chewing your teeth? In modern terms, it can strengthen the strength of teeth, prevent and resist diseases, promote the blood circulation of periodontal tissue and apical tissue, and regulate the health of the whole body through the communication between teeth and meridians. Among the main meridians connecting the human body, there are 13 trunk lines related to teeth and their surrounding oral parts, among which the large intestine meridian of hand Yangming and stomach meridian of foot Yangming directly enter the upper and lower teeth of people.
In Sun Shi's health poems, he deliberately used the word "sleep" to indicate the time of sleep, which is the evidence that Sun Simiao attaches importance to sleep. "There are four o'clock in the morning and evening when lying down, and there is a regular system." Sun Shi thinks that the best time to sleep at night is 9 10, which is a very scientific point of view. There are many scientific discussions about sleep, such as "don't lie in the wind", "don't wet your head", "don't put a stove on your head" and "don't cover your head in winter nights". The sleeping position should be "kneeling on your side, benefiting people's vitality and winning the battle", so as to achieve the goal of "limping and not getting tired of sleeping"
Significant circadian rhythm changes are a major feature of human existence. Waking up during the day and sleeping quietly at night are strict biological rhythms formed in the process of human evolution. Under the control of this rhythm, the physiological activities of the human body, such as breathing, digestion, blood, excretion, endocrine and so on. , have undergone corresponding regular changes, rhythmically supporting various physiological activities of the human body, which is often said to be the biological clock effect of the human body. When you need sleep, it will play a positive role, send a signal of self-protection, make people sleepy and promote people to fall asleep. If you stay awake when you are sleepy, the harm to your body will begin to happen. Therefore, relevant experts call for: If you want to reduce the occurrence of diseases and ensure your health, don't disturb the body's biological clock! In this regard, Bai Juyi, a poet who paid attention to the study of health preservation in the Tang Dynasty, also wrote a poem: "Sleeping when you are sleepy, Zen when you are soft, why not?" Being a doctor is a kind of medicine. I don't work hard and (medicine and) learn (Bian Que). "When a person is sleepy, he should go to bed; When you are exhausted, you should have a rest. A person's energy is limited, and it is purely harmful to use hard "support" when it is beyond his power. You must learn to adjust yourself to ensure your health.
"Ginkgo biloba and Yujin" is similar to the above-mentioned "clear rhyme and solidity", and it is also one of the important health care measures for the oral cavity and even the body. Yin Shi, that is, at three o'clock in the morning, "Yujin" is another name for saliva, and there are many other names, such as Jinjin, Yujiang, Yuquan, Yu Ye and Ganlu, which are exaggerated expressions of the importance and high value of saliva. "There is a Yuquan beside the white jade tooth, which feeds me all my life." (Sun Simiao's "Hygiene Song") Sun Simiao believes that saliva is a nourishing thing and is related to people's life span. Its secretion is mainly carried out when people are awake, with a peak at noon and during meals, and almost no secretion at night. Therefore, people often feel thirsty after getting up in the morning. Some people take drinking a cup of cold boiled water in the morning as a method of keeping in good health, which is not unreasonable, and has a source relationship with Sun Shi's method of "relaxing before getting up".
Ancient people paid more attention to the role of saliva in nourishing sperm and prolonging life, which was recorded in ancient books. For example, during the Wei and Jin Dynasties, there was an old man in Kuaijing, 1.78 years old. One of the secrets of his longevity is to spit and knock his teeth repeatedly after getting up. I think it is undeniable whether Sun Simiao, who has lived for more than 0/00 years, is also related to the measures he insisted on for many years.
If you want to stay away from all kinds of diseases, you should always be cautious. Calm the nerves, be happy, cherish qi and keep purity.
In this section, Sun Simiao put forward three issues related to health preservation, namely "keeping five emotions", "enjoying" and "keeping peace and purity". Let's analyze them one by one.
In fact, "Saving Five Spices" is a general term for controlling a variety of pungent flavors, not just five pungent vegetables (namely "Ferula" in traditional Chinese medicine): onion, leek, garlic and apricot koji. On the one hand, pungent taste has positive effects of dispersing qi, activating qi and promoting blood circulation, and after overeating, it also has negative effects of consuming qi, generating heat and hurting body fluids. Sun Shi's "moderate" view is aimed at the latter.
Temperance does not mean that it is useless. Sun Simiao is very good at using pungent flavor in dietotherapy and medicine. Such as Herba Ephedrae, Herba Menthae, Radix Aucklandiae, Flos Carthami, Fructus Piperis, Rhizoma Atractylodis, and Cortex Cinnamomi, are all pungent drugs. Sun Simiao is often used to treat sweating, promoting blood circulation, removing filth, eliminating dampness, warming stomach and inducing resuscitation. Even among the five kinds of vegetables represented by "Five Spices", some are listed as medicinal by Sun Shi. The custom of eating "five coriander" (also known as "spring vegetables") in beginning of spring, which began in the Tang Dynasty, is also represented by onion, garlic, pepper, ginger and shredded mustard. At first, the emperor sent spring dishes to the nearest ministers. Later, people followed this trend and gave gifts to each other. This is what Du Fu said in his poem "Fine Lettuce in Spring, Suddenly Remembering the Time when Two Beijing Plums Bloom". It is not known whether Sun Shi's formula was related to this diet at that time.
"Yue Le" can be understood as both an emotion advocating happiness and "taking pleasure in music", that is, keeping in good health by music. When Sun Shi's real intention is not clear, the author thinks it is best to understand it broadly.
Music health has existed since ancient times. For example, there is a saying in Zhou Li Fu Shan that music can promote diet; There are five tones and five elements in Huangdi Neijing, which is a direct summary of the experience of using music to treat diseases. There is a description in Li Long Parallel Prose that "watching flowers to relieve boredom, listening to songs to relieve anxiety and winning with medicine", which fully illustrates the role of music in treating diseases. Practice has proved that music therapy has direct or indirect therapeutic effects on depression, mania, pain and cancer besides health preservation and prenatal education.
"Keeping harmony and purity" means keeping people harmonious and pure, which is Sun Shi's repeated emphasis on "sexual cultivation" and has been mentioned in the first section "Thinking too much hurts the spirit".
The main point advocated by Sun Shi is that everyone should be less selfish, more caring, stay beautiful in adulthood, and help others, so as to gradually establish a harmonious and pure harmonious society. He talked a lot about this, for example, he said: "People who are good at managing their lives often think less, think less, want less, talk less, laugh less, worry less, be happy less, be happy less, be angry less, be good less and be evil less (note that" less "means the mean). There are twelve people on this trip, and the foundation of cultivation is also contracted. " He added: "Bad virtue, taking the jade liquid elixir, failed to prolong life." Bai Juyi, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, also said this in a poem: "What happened to the snail's horn? I'll put this body in the fire of the stone. Being with the rich, being with the poor, being happy, not laughing is an idiot. " Aside from the political background of vernacular Chinese, from the perspective of health preservation, it should be said that what he said is right. ("the theory of immortality, practice is people-oriented. If this principle can be followed, the flat land can be true. "
In the last section of this poem, Sun Simiao summed up his macro theory about health care, criticized the wrong understanding of saving lives, and put forward the idea of "putting people first in practice", which showed that active health care can improve the health level and life span of human beings and make people become "real people" in a bright future.
The theory of "life and death" is an open challenge to Sun Simiao's negative health-preserving thought in academic field, which embodies his positive health-preserving view. He believes that people's life span is not determined by the gods, nor can it be extended by taking Dan medicine. Some people often say that "life and death are determined by fate, and the rich and the poor are in heaven" has no scientific reason. Everyone's health and longevity are in their own hands. "The immortal way is difficult, and the art of raising a gender is easy to worship. Therefore, people who are good at health care should always be careful about taboos, be diligent in eating and drinking, and be not afraid of death or injury within a hundred years. " He said that Stan's elixir of life was poisonous. "Most people kill people, more poisonous than pigeons. Ordinary people are not sick, don't make a mistake. Be cautious. " He appealed: "I would rather eat pueraria lobata (a highly toxic drug) than refuse the five-stone fat, knowing that it is highly toxic and must not be careless." When people of insight meet this side, they must burn it and don't stay long. "It is not difficult to see that he is quite firmly opposed to using Stan to preserve health. Historically, the absurd practice of immortality through alchemy has indeed declined gradually since the Tang Dynasty, which is directly or indirectly related to Sun Simiao's active advocacy and strong opposition.
"Practice is people-oriented". Of all the factors in the world, man is the most instinctive and active. Therefore, the password of longevity is in people's own hands. Sun Simiao summed up this thought with the phrase "people-oriented practice", which reflected the theme of "people-oriented" in his academic thought. How to practice? Sun Shi summed up the ten essentials that he thought were easy to know, simple and easy to operate, namely, "one is to increase God, the other is to love God, the third is to keep fit, the fourth is to guide, the fifth is to talk, the sixth is to eat, the seventh is to house, the eighth is to be vulgar, the ninth is to take medicine and the tenth is taboo", and basically all the contents related to health care are put in. There are not only Sun Shi's arrangement of the experience of sages, but also Sun Simiao's personal creation, which laid a solid foundation for the continuous improvement and development of health preservation for later generations and played a role in connecting the past with the future. Careful scrutiny of these contents, in addition to what we have discussed, also contains an important kinematics thought, which is also the core of Sun Simiao's health theory.
Sun Simiao said: "The way to cultivate one's self-cultivation is always to do a little work, but it's too tiring to be strong. And the running water does not rot, and the home is not in danger, so it is moving. " The principle of longevity, "it is very important to adjust your body and massage, shake your limbs and guide the circulation of qi and blood." In the theory of keeping in good health, the word "exercise" has been repeatedly mentioned, and Sun Shi made clear the relationship between exercise and health, and between exercise and longevity. In addition to theory, Sun Simiao personally taught people specific exercise methods, such as walking and exercising according to one's ability: Choose "a sunny day at four o'clock, measure the cold temperature of the season, and go out for three miles, two miles, three hundred steps or two hundred steps, and do what one can, but don't make yourself feel tired and panting"; A comprehensive morning exercise based on guidance: "When the cock crows, lie down to guide", and after getting up, "spread your knees with your hands, slowly restrain your limbs, vomit foul air at your mouth, and inhale the air through your nose for a long time." . Sun Simiao took pains to talk about the essentials and functions of various sports forms, telling people that life lies in sports.
What is a "real person"? It is clearly stated in Huangdi Neijing: "A real person can lift heaven and earth, master yin and yang, breathe essence, keep god independently and have the same muscles, so he can live forever." "If we can follow this principle, the flat land can be real." Sun Simiao told us that if we can persist in doing what he wrote in the health book, we may become a healthy and long-lived person and an ideal "real person".
Above, combined with the reality of modern research and health care, we made a brief interpretation of Sun Simiao's health care. Although I have analyzed the connotation of Sun Shi's poems, and combined with Sun Shi's "Thousand Daughters" and other related expositions, I have failed to show his rich health-preserving thoughts in the end. Through these superficial words, it is helpful to understand the whole picture of Sun Simiao's health preservation theory and enlighten the actions of those who pursue health and longevity, which is exactly what the author expects.
On life and death, practice lies in people. If we can follow this principle, flat land can be real. "
What kind of temper and personality, what kind of diet and daily life determine a person's life and health. Don't overeat, life is impermanent, but push it into life. Just as your character determines your destiny, your cultivation and behavior determine your life. The so-called practice lies in people.
Only self-help, in addition, is to treat the symptoms, not the root cause.
