Why do people in China celebrate their birthdays in the lunar calendar?

I always celebrate my birthday in the lunar calendar, and so do all the people in my family. When I was young, I always thought that all people in the world celebrated their birthdays like this. The lunar calendar is actually a calendar compiled by China people in ancient times, also called the lunar calendar. There are many recipes for cooking time in my hometown, which are calculated according to the lunar calendar. When to plant cabbage and when to plant spinach, there is a debate.
