Rules of Pool

The rules of pool are briefly described as follows:

1. To determine the right to tee off in the first game, two players use the same mother ball to hit along the teeing off line to the bottom bank, and whoever's ball is closest to the top bank area after it bounces back has the right to tee off. It should be noted that the mother ball cannot be hit to the two long banks or intentionally pocketed, it must bounce back once and go beyond the center line to do so, otherwise it is an automatic forfeit of the tee-off right.

2. If a ball is in the pocket at the time of teeing off, regardless of the number, color or sequence, the teeing off side may continue to hit the ball and has the right to continue to choose the type of ball.

3. The head of the billiard cue must not touch the main ball more than twice in succession when hitting the main ball.

4. In a billiard game, both players must choose a color ball as their target ball, and win the game by hitting all of their target balls in and then hitting the 8-ball into the pocket. If one side mistakenly hits the 8-ball into the pocket or hits the 8-ball off the table during the game, it means the other side wins.

5. If the target ball of the player's first choice does not go into the pocket, the game remains open and the opponent may continue to choose the type of ball to be targeted.

6. In the process of hitting billiard balls, each shot does not need to be designated as a pocketed ball or pocket, there is no foul in the process of hitting the ball, and the target ball is finally pocketed, the player is allowed to continue to hit the ball.
