Correct pasting of couplets

The correct way to paste couplets: first of all, you must paste banners, because there are two ways to write banners, from left to right or from right to left.

The ancient way of writing is to write from right to left, so when pasting Spring Festival couplets, it is facing the door, and the upper part of the right door frame should be pasted, and the lower part should be pasted on the left. Since the last century, people's writing style has changed a lot. They are used to writing from left to right. Then face the door, stick it on the upper part of the left door frame and on the lower part of the right.

Up to today, when I posted Spring Festival couplets, both portals had banners in the above two ways. Stick the banner right, and then divide it into couplets. Anyone who knows a little about Spring Festival couplets knows that rising and falling is the general requirement of all couplets. In modern Chinese Pinyin, the third and fourth sounds are clear, the last word is clear, that is, the upper part, the first and second sounds are flat, and the last word is flat, that is, the lower part. This is not difficult to master.
