Prospect of postgraduate entrance examination

Chinese language and literature is one of the earliest majors in the history of China University. It is an established major and a basic major, which appeared at the end of19th century. After the 1980s, this major has made great progress. Some normal universities want to offer this major to train teachers for Chinese teaching in China, and comprehensive universities generally offer this major in Chinese Department or College of Arts and Sciences.

The traditional courses offered by Chinese language and literature major are mostly confined to literature subject, which is relatively simple, but the market needs compound talents who integrate Chinese language and literature with other disciplines, which is also determined by the wide employment scope of Chinese language and literature major.
