Plum Blossom Song
Plum Blossom Sanlang (originally a flute piece, later adapted as a guqin piece)
This piece is an aria of the plum blossom, which celebrates people with noble sentiments through the plum blossom's whiteness, fragrance, and resistance to the cold. The first half of the piece is a quiet, soothing overtone tune, which shows the plum blossom's purity and serenity in the static state, while the urgent second half depicts the plum blossom's unyielding dynamics. The two sections are different in tone, tune and rhythm, with sharp contrast. The overtone tune is repeated three times in different emblems in the same song, so it is called "three melodies".
The whole piece***is divided into ten sections, two major parts, the first part, the first six sections, using the cycle of reproduction techniques, the second four sections of the second part, describing the plum blossom static and dynamic image of the two.
nine, the wind swinging plum blossoms;
ten, the desire to stop.
The first six stanzas are the first part and the last four are the second part.
