The piano (English: piano) is a keyboard musical instrument with 88 keys and a soundboard of metal strings, articulated by the striking of felt mallets controlled by the keyboard, and pedals for changing or modifying the volume and quality of the sound, as well as grand pianos and upright pianos.

Sitting posture: good sitting posture helps us to be able to feel, manipulate our body better and play the piano comfortably.

(1) The piano stool should be placed squarely, perpendicular to the keyboard. It is recommended that it be positioned so that when you sit down, it is right in the center of the piano.

(2) Keep your feet flat. The right foot can be placed slightly forward in relation to the left foot. It is recommended that you sit on one third of the bench, as this is usually more stable and the feet can be used for support.

(3) Arms hang naturally, elbows slightly above the keyboard.

(4) Lean forward slightly.

Hand shape: Imagine a ball lightly held in your hand, with an arched hand shape and slightly raised palm joints, and touch the keys with your fingertips (the part near the tips of your fingers). The first and second knuckles of the fingers play a supporting role. Keep the first and second knuckles and metacarpal joints supported during playing, and don't collapse or fold your fingers.

Finger number: The finger number is the number given to the finger, which is displayed above the note in the piece, telling you what finger number to use when you play the note, which is the fingering.

Score: As the name suggests, a score is made up of five lines, and the spaces between the lines are called "intervals".
