What is dog skin plaster made of?

Anyang dog skin cream is also called Yao Jia dog skin cream. Founded in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, the founder Yao Benren was originally from Nancheng County, Jianchang Prefecture, Jiangxi Province. He studied medicine since childhood and traveled to practice medicine in his early years. Once he went to Anyang and saved the life of a young woman who was buried in a coffin. He was known as the "medicine fairy". In the seventh year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty (1634), Zhao Wangjian, who lived in Anyang, heard that his medical skills were brilliant and was recruited by Zhao Fuliang. Later, Yao Benren resigned from the Zhao family and developed a plaster for the treatment of traumatic injuries with Zen master Xiao Shan in Shaolin Temple. The main raw materials are more than 20 kinds of precious medicinal materials such as musk, frankincense, myrrh, dragon's blood, angelica, papaya and so on. Yao Benren gave it widely to the south of the Yellow River and used it well. In the first year of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty (1644), Yao Benren was awarded the imperial doctor of Taiji Hospital by the Qing government. In the fifth year of Shunzhi (1648), Yao Benren retired to Ye (now Anyang) and lived in Huaihuayuan, the east end of Gulou Back Street in Anyang City. He opened Yao's plaster shop and named it Zonghuangtang. In front of the shop, there was a huge plaque of "Curing too much for real people", which was handed down from generation to generation. The production method of plaster strictly abides by the ancestral instruction to pass on the daughter-in-law instead of the daughter-in-law, and has been used for more than 300 years. After 1949, Yao's family disclosed the formula and preparation method of the plaster. From 65438 to 0956, most Yao families joined the public-private partnership Anyang Pharmaceutical Factory Menzong Huangtang Plaster Factory. 1967 was transformed into a local state-owned Anyang gypsum factory. Yaojia dog skin cream has excellent formula, fine texture, black and bright color, moderate hardness and remarkable curative effect. Since 1978, Anyang Plaster Factory has scientifically analyzed the formula of Yao Jia Plaster, refined and purified the medicine, and made refined plaster by new technology and method.
