CSTR process can treat raw materials with high suspended solids content. The materials in the digester are evenly distributed, which avoids stratification and increases the chance of contact between materials and microorganisms. By stirring, the organic matter circulates to the lower part of the reactor and gradually reacts completely. This process is simple and low cost, and it is one of the most widely used anaerobic reactors in the world.
