Labor is divided into simple labor and complex labor.

According to the traditional labor classification theory, labor can be divided into two categories: mental labor and manual labor.

Because there is a major contradiction in human nature, that is, the contradiction between human consciousness subject and life ontology. According to different control methods, it can be divided into autonomous motion and autonomous motion. In the primary stage of socialism, there are usually three forms of labor.

The first is socialist labor based on distribution according to work, which is the most basic and common form of labor in China at present.

The second type is unpaid public welfare labor, such as cleaning public health, doing a good job in regional greening, doing a good job in safety, and helping each other in life.

The third kind, voluntary labor, this kind of labor, regardless of remuneration, regardless of quota, is entirely for the benefit of the public. Voluntary labor refers to the labor of individual free will, which is not limited by quota and has no reward. Regardless of the quota, don't pay, and voluntarily work for the society.

Three basic types of labor

Manual labor: Manual labor refers to human labor that mainly focuses on the labor of human muscles and bones, supplemented by the labor of physiological systems such as the brain.

Mental labor: Mental labor refers to human labor which is mainly based on brain nervous system labor and supplemented by other physiological system labor.

Manual labor: Manual labor refers to other forms of human labor except manual labor and mental labor.

The general labor of human beings consists of different proportions of mental labor, physical labor and physiological labor. Generally speaking, mental labor refers to the compound labor in which mental labor accounts for the main proportion, physical labor refers to the compound labor in which physical labor accounts for the main proportion, and physiological labor refers to the compound labor in which physical labor accounts for the main proportion.
