Travel Notes of the Dream Ring is based on the traditional Mexican festival "Day of the Dead".

In the eyes of Mexicans, death is the highest meaning of life, and life and death complement each other to complete a life cycle. Therefore, every year on the Day of the Dead, Mexicans pay homage to the dead, but they are not sad. They even sing and dance all night to commemorate and celebrate the annual reunion with their deceased relatives.

Dream Journey is a 19 animated feature film by Pixar Animation Studio, which is jointly produced by Walter Disney Film Studio and Pixar Animation Studio, directed by lee unkrich and Adrian Molina, and voiced by Anthony Gonzá lez, Benjamin Bratt, Gael García Bernal and Renee Victor. Inspired by the Day of the Dead in Mexico, the film tells the story of a little boy, MiG, who loves music, and a lonely musician, Ekto, who have wonderful adventures in a colorful and mysterious world.
