Specifically, the design of mahogany furniture is the western mahogany furniture style represented by Guangzhou and Shanghai from the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China, from which Shanghai style furniture was born and absorbed a lot of western cultural elements. For example, Roman columns and curves, architectural doorways, exaggerated carved flowers, carved marine animals, passionflower, Tiger Claw lion and so on are widely used in western architecture. And the time lasted for -60 years, which led to the epoch-making design style change of mahogany furniture. Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, the design of mahogany furniture has not reflected new cultural elements. Therefore, at present, the mahogany furniture on the market either draws lessons from the traditional classical furniture style of China or the Shanghai style of the Republic of China, and the third design style has not yet been formed.
