Traditional surgical methods for compression fractures
The choice of treatment for spinal fracture depends on the condition. If the compression of vertebral fracture exceeds 1/3, surgical treatment is recommended, otherwise chronic low back pain will remain. Surgery includes vertebroplasty, open surgery and percutaneous pedicle screw technique. If the compression of vertebral fracture is less than one third and it is a stable fracture, conservative treatment is recommended. According to my own personal experience, there is no need to stay in bed strictly. You can get out of bed with braces. Staying in bed for too long will lead to lumbar muscle weakness, which is not conducive to recovery.
