Where is Pantuo Village?

Pantuo Village is located in the southeastern mountainous area of Qixian County, 25 kilometers away from the county seat, and Changyuan River and National Highway 208 pass through the village. There are 276 households in the village, with 584 registered residents, 355 permanent residents, 90 seasonal floating population and 200 migrant workers. There are 6 members of the two committees in the village, and the income of the villagers mainly depends on planting, breeding and going out to work. The traffic is relatively developed, and the development of Changyuanhe Wetland Park has a good development prospect. The total land area of the village is 10080 mu, including 600 mu of cultivated land, 6,300 mu of forest land (there are 3,000 mu of forest land, and the main tree species are Platycladus orientalis, Robinia pseudoacacia, Prunus armeniaca, Poplar and Willow), 4,200 mu of barren hills and slopes, and 2,000 mu of dry rocky mountains. The existing walnut dry fruit economic forest (150 mu) was newly developed last year and early years. The main task at present is management and protection. There are only 50 mu of old, weak, sick and disabled trees in the village, and the output is declining year by year. The area of returning farmland to forests in the whole village 1767 mu, involving 62 households.

Pantuo Village is adjacent to Dongshan Village, Mozhi Village, Nanfenggou Village, Laiyuan Village, Beiguan Village, Tuancheng Village, Dongyugou Village, Guyukou Village and Tang hedi village.

On June 6th, 20 19, Pantuo Village was included in the fifth batch of traditional villages in China.

On August 26th, 2020, patriotic health campaign committee, Shanxi Province named Pantuo Village as the Health Village of Shanxi Province from 2020 to 2022.

There are tourist attractions such as Qiaojia Courtyard, China Hon Hai Glass Culture and Art Park, Qiaojiabao Village, Qixian Town, He Lou, and Qiaojia Courtyard Folk Museum near Pantuo Village. There are also specialties, such as crisp pear in Qixian, Liuqu fragrant wine in Qixian, sesame oil in Xiao Mo in Qixian, Liuqu fragrant wine and garlic in Qixian.
