What are the communication methods?
Language communication includes oral language, written language, pictures or graphics. Language is the main means of interpersonal communication. When using language to exchange information, as long as the parties involved in the exchange have a high degree of consistency in their understanding of the situation, then the meaning of communication will at least be lost.
2. Nonverbal information exchange
It is a supplementary form of language communication and sometimes used alone.
Nonverbal symbol system mainly includes two categories: paralanguage and visual symbols. Visual symbols mainly include facial expressions, body movements and postures, eye contact, interpersonal distance, clothing and so on. Physical contact is also a common nonverbal symbol.
Paralanguage: Also known as auxiliary language, people's tone, loudness, speech speed, pause, rising tone and falling tone all have certain meanings, which can be used as clues for people to understand the content of speech. These clues accompanying speech are called paralanguage. The same sentence in different sublanguages may have different meanings.
