A brief introduction to the story of three girls' birthdays

Lu's play Birthdays of Three Daughters tells the story of an old rich man with three daughters. The eldest daughter and the second daughter married a rich family, while the third daughter married a poor scholar. The third daughter and son-in-law were coldly rejected by their parents-in-law and sister's brother-in-law during birthday celebrations because of their poor families. Later, the third son-in-law studied hard and came to the top of the high school, paying good for evil and helping her parents-in-law.

The story is full of ups and downs, wonderful and vivid, and the content is close to people's lives. It satirizes those who are too poor and love the rich, and at the same time praises the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation, such as loving the old, filial piety and self-improvement, which has profound educational significance.
