In December 2019, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development promoted Public Security County as a typical county of national rural innovation and entrepreneurship.

In January 2019, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs recognized Public Security County as the third batch of demonstration counties (cities and districts) in the country to take the lead in basically realizing the mechanization of the whole process of major crop production.

In 2019, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development promoted Public Security County as the second batch of typical counties for rural entrepreneurship and innovation nationwide.

August 2018, Public Security County won the fourth batch of advanced units in the creation of national rule of law counties and municipalities.

In March 2018, the list of the first batch of agricultural product quality and safety counties in Hubei Province was released, and Public Security County was shortlisted.

In December 2017, Public Security County was on the list of 2017 China's Most Investment Potential Characteristic and Charming Demonstration Counties.

In February 2016, Public Security County was on the list of 2015 National Basic Balanced Counties (Cities and Districts) for Compulsory Education Development.

In February 2016, the Ministry of Agriculture and the State Administration of Safety Supervision identified Public Security County as the 2014-2015 National Safe Fisheries Demonstration County.

In January 2016, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development named Public Security County as the 2015 National Garden County.

In December 2015, Public Security County was awarded the title of "Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries Healthy Cultivation Demonstration County (the first batch)".
