Method of folding lanterns
1. Fold the diagonal of the square colored paper into an X-shaped crease, and then fold the lower right corner parallel to the center point; 2. Fold down the upper diagonal parallel to the bottom edge; 3. Fold the right angle folded down in step 2 into a triangle, with the bottom parallel to the midline crease; 4. Overlap the right angle in step 1 with the right angle in Figure 4, and fold it to make a crease; 5. Then fold the right angle into a triangle with the base parallel to the center line; 6. Turn the origami upside down, fold the right angles on the left and right sides parallel to the center point in half, fold the creases and open them; 7. Then fold the left and right right angles parallel to the crease in Figure 6 to form a crease, forming 1 small isosceles right triangle; 8. Fold both ends to the middle, and then insert one end under the triangle at the other end; 9. Trim the edge creases slightly, so that the components of the lantern are folded.
