Notre Dame de Russia
Notre Dame Cathedral in Moscow, also known as Saint Vassili Cathedral. It is located in Moscow, outside the Kremlin wall, between Red Square and moscow river. It is known as one of the eight wonders of the world and is usually regarded as a symbol of Russia's unique position across Europe and Asia. It was built in 1555- 156 1 year to commemorate the merger of Kazan Principality and astrakhan. It consists of nine churches, the central church is 47 meters high, the upper part is a tent with rich national style, and the top is decorated with a small dome. Eight churches around have also been crowned with an onion-shaped dome, with spiral and diamond shapes, different patterns and colors, mainly gold and green, mixed with yellow and red, like a bunch of rising and jumping flames. The flat roof in the church is decorated with vivid murals of17-18th century. This church is now a branch of the History Museum.
