Who are the architects in China?
I.M. Pei, 19 17, was born in Guangzhou, China on April 26th, 2007. Chinese-American architect born in Suzhou, after Suzhou noble family.
I.M. Pei studied architecture at MIT and Harvard University. I.M. Pei's works are mainly public buildings and cultural and educational buildings, belonging to modernist buildings, which make good use of steel, concrete, glass and stone.
His representative buildings include the East Wing of the National Gallery of Washington and the expansion project of the Louvre in Paris, France. Known as "the last master of modern architecture". I.M. Pei also won 1979 Gold Award of American Architecture Society, 198 1 French Architecture Gold Award, 1989 Imperial Japan Award, 1983 Fifth Pritzker Award and 1986 President Reagan's award.
