2. The second method: coating method.

Clamping method is a traditional method, which has the advantages of low garlic moss crushing rate, good garlic moss quality and high yield. Disadvantages: False stems are easy to be cut off, which leads to lodging and paralysis of plants, which is not conducive to the growth of garlic.

The method of using pod moss requires garlic clips. You can make your own garlic clip: fresh wicker with a length of 30 cm and a diameter of 1-2 cm can be peeled and folded in half to bend it, so be careful not to break it. When picking garlic moss, use the garlic moss clip in the right hand and the garlic moss clip in the opposite hand, gently clamp the fake stem 7- 10 cm off the ground, and lift the garlic moss upward with the backhand to pull out the garlic moss smoothly. If you can't pull out the garlic, you can move the garlic clip up slightly, and it is forbidden to twist the garlic clip back and forth.

3. The third method: coating method

The coating method is generally used for garlic varieties with high garlic coating yield, long garlic coating and no easy smoking. In the specific operation, prepare an arc-shaped bamboo piece with small nails, hold one end with forehand, pierce the false stem and leaf sheath from the ground 10-30 cm, slide upward, and then break the base of garlic moss with backhand to extract garlic moss. The disadvantage of this method is that the speed of collecting moss is slow, which is easy to cause false stems to fall and affect garlic yield.

4. The fourth method: moss binding method

This method is slow and inefficient, but garlic moss is good in commodity, so it is a practical method. At present, there are special tools for picking moss on the market, and many people use this method. When collecting the tomb of garlic moss, you only need to take a pointed moss picking tool, plunge it into the false stem 5-10 cm above the ground, hold the garlic moss in the opposite direction and slowly pull it out.
