Modern industrial design is based on modern industrial production, with machine mass production as the main body and modern science and technology as the arm. On the one hand, modern industrial design has a profound connection with traditional handicraft design, which is the new development of traditional handicraft design under the conditions of modern society; On the other hand, it is very different from the traditional handicraft design, which is mainly manifested in that it is based on modern industrial mass production, adopts batch and standardized production methods, and designers and producers have a clear professional division of labor, and the design pays more attention to science and technology, standardization, sociality and commerce.
