Jinan Art School Jinan Art School is the only full-time general secondary specialized art school in Jinan approved by Shandong Provincial People's Government. It was originally built in the 1960s.

The school has 9 majors, including acrobatics, Peking Opera, Shandong Opera, Quyi, Music, Fine Arts, Film and Television Performance and China Dance Performance, with more than 500 students. There are more than 70 teachers in our school, mostly from more than a dozen well-known universities such as Minzu University of China, Shandong Normal University and Shandong Art College. In addition, dozens of famous experts and professors in the field of art in provinces and cities are employed by our school.

The teaching of Excellence has achieved fruitful results in the long-term practice: the double-deck swinging board performed by acrobatic students won the Silver Clown Award in the 14th Monte Carlo Acrobatic Competition, and the rotary folding chair won the Silver Lion Award in the 4th National Youth Acrobatic Competition in 2002. Students majoring in Peking Opera won the second prize in the national "Miaoxin Cup" Peking Opera Competition and reported their performances to the central leaders in Huairentang, Zhongnanhai. Seven sketches written and performed by students majoring in film and television performance won the first, second and third prizes for performance and screenwriter in the 5th Children's Drama Sketch Competition in Shandong Province. Art school students have also participated in many large-scale cultural activities and important foreign affairs performances held by Shandong Province and Jinan City to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the 80th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and won wide acclaim from provincial and municipal leaders and all walks of life. In recent years, the teaching quality of the school has also been best verified in previous college entrance examinations. For several years in a row, the passing rate of college entrance examination of art school students reached 96%, and the admission rate reached 90%.
