Where is Zhengzhou in China?
Zhengzhou is located in the geographical center of China, in the north of the map. Zhengzhou, referred to as "Zheng" for short, is the capital of Henan Province, located in the south of North China Plain and north of central Henan Province.
Zhengzhou is an important birthplace of Chinese civilization, the hinterland of the activities of the Three Emperors and Five Emperors, and the axis of Chinese civilization. Located in the geographical center of China, it is an important hub city of China for railways, aviation, highways, electric power, postal services and telecommunications. Zhengzhou City straddles the second and third grade geomorphic steps in China, Songshan Mountain in the southwest is the front of the second grade geomorphic steps, the eastern plain is a part of the third grade geomorphic steps, and the hilly area is between the mountains and the plains.
