Torch Festival is an ancient traditional festival of Yi, Bai, Naxi, Jinuo, Lahu and other ethnic groups, which has profound folk culture connotation and is called "Carnival of the East".
2. Wa nationality (Gumu Festival)
The Wa calendar "Greer Month" (equivalent to 65438+February in Gregorian calendar) is the time when the Wa people used to hold the village wooden drum festival. In 2002, April 10 to 12 was designated as the Wa ancient grazing festival. Wooden drum is a unique drum of Wa nationality.
3. Dai people (Water-splashing Festival)
Water-splashing Festival, also known as "Buddha-washing Festival" and "Cold Monk Festival", is a traditional festival of Dai, Achang, Bulang, Wa, De 'ang and Thai. On that day, people got up early in the morning and bathed in Buddha.
4. Naxi (Three Flowers Festival)
On the eighth day of the second lunar month, the Naxi people living in Yunnan have a unique festival of offering sacrifices, which is called "Sanduo Festival" or "Sanduo Festival".
5. Bai Nationality (Girls' Day)
Girls' Day falls on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month every year. On this day, Bai women from southern Yunnan and Yang Cen in Jianchuan County will take part in activities. They will donate money to get together, specially invite someone to tie up a girl's idol, dress her in Bai costumes, carry her on a swing on the swing frame, and everyone will dance, sing and entertain her, and then hold a memorial service by the riverside.
