Life characteristics: Monkeys generally live in jungles and mountains near water sources. They live in arboreal and semi-arboreal forms and live in groups, usually after group activities. Monkeys are active in foraging during the day and basically rest at night. There are also species that are active at night, such as finger monkeys, some large lemurs and night monkeys.
