What are the processing methods?

1, steering mode

That is, lathe processing is a part of mechanical processing. Lathe machining is mainly to turn rotating workpiece with lathe tool. On the lathe, you can also use drills, reamers, taps, dies and knurling tools for corresponding processing. Lathe is mainly used to process shafts, disks, sleeves and other workpieces with revolving surfaces, and it is the most widely used machine tool in machinery manufacturing and repair shops.

2. Grinding method

Milling is one of the main methods of plane machining. In addition, milling is also suitable for machining step surfaces, grooves and various complicated molding surfaces (such as gears and threads), and also for machining revolving surfaces, inner holes and cutting.

Milling is a mechanical processing method that uses milling cutter as a tool to process the surface of an object. Milling machines include horizontal milling machines, vertical milling machines, gantry milling machines, copying milling machines, universal milling machines and lever milling machines.

The method of machining plane with cylindrical milling cutter is called circumferential milling method.

The method of machining plane with face milling cutter is called end milling.

There are two milling methods for circumferential milling: reverse milling and forward milling. When the angle between the main movement direction and the feed direction of the milling cutter is acute, it is called reverse milling, and when it is obtuse, it is called forward milling. According to the different relative positions of the milling cutter and the workpiece, end milling can be divided into three different milling methods: symmetric milling, asymmetric reverse milling and asymmetric forward milling.

3, planing method

Planing can be carried out on a shaper or planer, and the main movement of planing is variable-speed reciprocating linear movement. Because there is inertia when changing speed, the improvement of cutting speed is limited, and cutting is not carried out on the return trip, so the production efficiency of planing is low.

The machine tools and tools needed for planing are simple in structure, convenient to manufacture and install, easy to adjust and universal. Therefore, it is widely used in single piece and small batch production, especially when processing long and narrow planes.

4. Broaching method

Broaching refers to cutting thin metal layers from the workpiece layer by layer with a special broach, which makes the surface achieve high dimensional accuracy and low roughness. It is an efficient processing method.

During broaching, the broach makes the machined surface cut and shaped at one time, so the broaching machine has only the main movement and no feeding movement. Broaching chips are thin and the cutting movement is smooth, so the machining accuracy is high and the surface structure value is small.

5, grinding mode

Grinding belongs to finish machining in machining (machining is divided into rough machining, finish machining, heat treatment and other machining methods), with less machining volume and high precision. Ming Chongpei

It is widely used in machinery manufacturing. When grinding carbon tool steel and carburized and hardened steel parts, a large number of regularly arranged cracks-grinding cracks often appear on the surface basically perpendicular to the grinding direction, which not only affects the appearance of parts, but also directly affects the quality of parts.
