Crafts: maze mini-game

Here we share with you a craft for a little maze game. This simple little maze game is not only easy to make, but also a good exercise for children of different ages to exercise their balance and reflexes.

Tools/materials

Lid of a cardboard box, some straws, scissors and double-sided tape, and marbles

Prepare a cardboard box with a raised lid and some long straws.

The choice of carton lid and the number of straws can be based on the age of your child.

If your child is under 5 years old, it is recommended to use a carton lid that is the size of a mosquito box lid. If your child is over 5 years old it is recommended to use a shoe box lid size. The number of straws can be increased according to the actual situation.

Before making a labyrinth, it is recommended that you draw a simple sketch of the labyrinth on a piece of white paper. Following the maze sketch will make us twice as efficient.

Cut the straws into different lengths according to the plan on the maze sketch, as shown in the picture.

Apply double-sided tape to the sides of the straws as shown.

Paste the double-sided tape on the straws on the carton according to the plan on the maze sketch in order.

It is recommended to put the glass ball into the carton when pasting the straws in order to prevent the spacing of the straws from being too big or too small when pasting the maze.

It is recommended to stick the straws in the direction from the exit to the entrance.
