Xinjiang is a multi-ethnic region, inhabited by thirteen major ethnic groups, because of the historical origins of the various ethnic groups, living environment, mode of production, and different living customs and maintain a different culture. Uyghur is an ethnic group with a long history in China and one of the most representative ethnic groups in Xinjiang.

The dances of "Sainam", "Dolang", "Maxilaev" and so on, which are characterized by Uyghur flavor, have been continuing the historical tradition of Uyghur people's love of songs and dances.
