The Behind-the-scenes Production of Sea Girl
On June 4th, 20 12, NHK held a press conference to announce the production of the 88th morning novel series "Sea Girl". In addition to the story outline, it also announced that the screenwriter was Li Shuxing and Gong Teng. This is the first time that Li Shuxing and Gong Teng have written a script for NHK. On July 26th of the same year, NHK announced that Qiu Ren Amano, the heroine, had been chosen as Lena Noning, who made her debut in TV series.
"Sea Girl" started shooting in Jiuji City, Iwate Prefecture from 20 12 to 10/8, and ended on August 1 day of the following year (20 13), with a shooting cycle of about 10 months.
Creation background
The Japanese name of the play "ぁまちゃん" means not only "sea girl" but also "immature child". The screenwriter Li Shuxing and Gong Teng want to describe the story of "idol" revitalizing the rural economy. A girl in a remote mountain village grew up to be an idol, and fans came all the way to see her, thus reviving the countryside both spiritually and materially. 20 1 1,1year1October, before the stage of the story was determined, Li Shuxing visited his mother's hometown Iwate Prefecture for nine times and learned about the existence of local sea girls, regional railways (Beiguwan Line of Sanlu Railway) and amber. He got inspiration from it and decided to use this place as the stage of the story.
