How about Yi people bandit king mai wang

Received a copy of Yi People Bandit King Mai Wang ordered online, read it, and it was great. The cover blurb says that the author is a reporter from Guizhou Metropolis Daily, and I don't know why he is introduced as a reporter. Because I have the impression that journalists are people who sing praises, and novels are no better. But I guess it might be because he is a journalist and collects literary material. But read carefully, there is another flavor. There are a lot of Guizhou mountain songs in the article, the curse of the Yi people. Guizhou Yi should be a beautiful ethnic group because its curses are as beautiful as poetry. When I talked to my friend about this novel, he said that he had not read it, but he knew that this author was a descendant of a bandit, and he knew a lot of bandit subjects. But the novel is not as gritty as previous bandit novels, but is characterized by subtle, fleshed-out characters. There is a lot of mysterious culture in the novel, but Guizhou may just be very mysterious. After reading the book, one can learn a lot about the mysterious culture of the minorities in Guizhou. No wonder the cover says that it is an encyclopedic novel about northwest Guizhou. Some say that the book's poetic narrative allows Maiwang to come out of the cave of time in a near-real way, and epically interpret a secret legend about Guizhou through treasures, witchcraft, and mystical culture. I think it's a good book worth chewing on, because it provides us with a new and rather pioneering sample of fiction based on the inheritance of traditional culture. I don't dare to say that this book is of high academic value, but I think it is the best of the current Chinese bandit novels, or at least an "alternative" to the bandit novels. I read it again, I can only say so much, I recommend that you read it, I believe there is an unexpected harvest.
