Body shape requirements of Tibetan clothing

Tibetan clothes should be strong and sturdy, otherwise the whole suit will not hold up.

Tibetan costume is a kind of gown with big collar, with large left lapel and small right lapel. The sleeves are three or four inches long with fingers, and the hem is two or three inches longer than the feet. When dressing, you often put a big lapel on your head, then fasten your belt, tie the lapel, and stick your head out, so that the robe naturally hangs between your shin and knee, forming a pocket on the chest of your coat.

In Tibetans, men, women and children wear Tibetan clothes. Because of the large temperature difference, the robe sleeves are more spacious. When the temperature rises, it is convenient to take off a sleeve to adjust the body temperature. As the temperature rises, the two sleeves are gradually removed, which is more suitable for the local environment.

The key to wearing Tibetan robes is to tie the belt, and there are different ways to tie it in different situations. When going out, the upper body of the Tibetan robe is often tied loosely, which is convenient to put on and take off the sleeves. It can also be used as a spacious pocket with bowls for eating and drinking tea and miscellaneous supplies. This method also raises the lower part of the Tibetan robe to facilitate riding.
