Chen Tai Ji Chuan's basic skills include Gong Zhuang, hip shaking, hand posture, footwork, shoulder opening, waist moving, lacing, single training, stretching, sliding, squeezing, pressing, picking, arranging, leaning on elbows, opening and closing, winding wires, taiji ruler, taiji pole and taiji ball.

Basic Gong Zhuang includes elevated step piles, low step piles and rodless piles. The simple moves that are often practiced are the left-hand and right-hand cloud hand, the fixed-step cloud hand, the forward stroke, the forward stroke and the downward stroke, and the flower hand. 7. Move the center of gravity to the right, close your left foot, sink, and push your left foot 45 degrees to the left. Note: the inner heel is pressing the ground. Then continue to step 4 and practice like this.

Second, retrogression.

1. Stand with your feet together and put your hands on your thighs naturally to relax.

2. The feet are slightly lower than the knees, and the center of gravity is left. Push the big toe of your right foot back one step, and the outside of your feet is about shoulder width.

3. The center of gravity moves to the right, and the little toe side of the left foot sticks to the ground and shrinks to the right foot.

4. Stick the big toe of your left foot to the ground and push back one step. The outside of the feet is shoulder width.

5. Move the center of gravity to the left, stick the little toe of the right foot to the ground and shrink to the right foot.

6. Place the big toe of your right foot on the ground and push back one step. The outside of the feet is shoulder width. Then continue to the third step, and practice in this cycle.

Third, step horizontally.

1. Stand with your feet together and put your hands on your thighs naturally to relax.

2. Squat your feet under your knees, center of gravity to the right, lift your left foot and sink. At the same time, your left heel sticks to the ground and pushes to the left.
