Brief introduction of Miao dance
Miao folk dances include Lusheng dance, bronze drum dance, wood drum dance, Xiangxi drum dance, bench dance and drum ladle dance. Lusheng dance is the most popular. In Danzhai, Taijiang, Ping Huang, Leishan, Kaili, Gulong, Dafang, Shuicheng, Rongshui and other places in Guangxi, Lusheng Dance is held every year on traditional festivals such as the 15th of the first month, the 3rd of March and the 9th of September, as well as festive festivals such as the Spring Festival, ancestor worship, house building, harvest and wedding. There are four steps in dance, including two steps, three steps, six steps, rubbing step, jumping step, step by step and left-right rotation. Miao Youth Dance, led by Miao first-class actor Jin Ou, has been made into a dance art film Butterfly Flying by 1963, which has been staged in the United States, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and other places, and is deeply loved by the masses.
The Miao nationality is rich in singing and dancing, and there are only ten kinds of "encouragement" of the Miao nationality. Miao's "admonition" is recorded in the Tang Dynasty's "Ruling and Opposition", which shows that Miao's "admonition" has a long history.
