What technology does gesture recognition need?

Gesture action recognition needs the following technologies: gesture segmentation, gesture analysis and gesture recognition. First of all, it is necessary to preprocess the input image or video, such as removing background noise and enhancing image quality. Then, the gestures in the image or video are separated by gesture segmentation technology. Next, through gesture analysis technology, the characteristics of gesture action, such as the shape, position and trajectory of hand, are extracted and analyzed. Finally, human gestures are recognized by machine learning algorithm.
