The Taoists, who are naive in life, are not naive at all in politics, so they are mostly true hermits.
Religiously serious Mohists were more pious than Confucians; they took the ghosts and gods seriously and so avoided the hypocrisy of Confucianism.
Intellectually the top-truthful Naimists were more sincere than the Taoists; they took the truth seriously, and thus avoided the nihilism of the Taoists.
However, imperial autocracy needed politically naive and childish Confucians, so Confucianism triumphed over Mohism, and religious belief became a folk game in China.
The imperial dictatorship needed the honest and casual Taoism, so Taoism won over the celebrities, and objective truth became an overseas wonder in China.
