Where did Zen Buddhism in China come from?

Zen is the Buddha of Tianzhu, and Sanskrit is called Sakyamuni. Sakyamuni later spread to China and was translated into Buddhism.

The inheritance of Zen Buddhism is based on Buddhism. There is an ancestral temple in the northwest of Shaolin Temple, which was built in the Song Dynasty. There is an inscription on the stone pillar in the 7th year of Song Xuanhe (1 125), and there is a statue of the second ancestor Hui Ke in the original ancestral hall in the southwest of the temple.

Kuangjiu Temple is located in Cheng 'an County, Hebei Province. Hui Ke, the second ancestor of Zen Buddhism, said that Dharma was once the second ancestor here.

Valley Temple, also known as Gan Yuan Temple and Sanzu Temple. Located in Sanzu Mountain, 30 miles northwest of Anhui Buried Hill, the Zen master of the third ancestor once gave lectures here, and there is a Zen master tower in the temple.

Zhenjue Temple, also known as Dongshan Temple, is located on the Mao Feng in Erdan, northeast of Huangmei, Hubei. Daoxin, the fourth ancestor of Zen Buddhism, and Hongren, the fifth ancestor, once lived here.

Nanhua Temple, located 60 miles south of Shaoguan, Guangdong Province, was originally named Baolin Temple. Huineng, the sixth ancestor of Zen Buddhism, practiced Buddhism here. There is a six-ancestor pagoda in the temple, which is the hall of six ancestors.
