Wu Genyou's Visiting Lecture

1, March 30-April 30, 2005, Lecture on Philosophy of Ming and Qing Dynasties, Seven Chinese Departments in Paris, France.

From February/KLOC-0 to March 9, 2006, at the invitation of Steve Angele, head of the Department of Philosophy of Weasley University and director of the Center for East Asian Studies, he attended the International Symposium on Neo-Confucianism and Global Philosophy and made a short visit. The title of the thesis is: The Ideal of Confucian Political System Reform in Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Construction of Democratic System in Contemporary China. On February 26-27, at the invitation of Professor Du Weiming, he attended the Boston New Confucianism Seminar of Yanjing Society of Harvard University. On the afternoon of March 3rd, at the invitation of the Center for East Asian Studies of Columbia University, he attended the 567th seminar and delivered the article "Business-oriented" and the new breakthrough of Confucian economic philosophy in the late Ming Dynasty. Professor William Theodore de Bary from Columbia University participated in the discussion. On this trip, I also went with Associate Professor Peng Guoxiang from Tsinghua University.

On February 20th, at the invitation of Robin Wang, director of the Center for East Asian Studies at loyola Marymount University, he gave a short talk to the graduate students of the Center —— Free words, concepts and concepts in China's ideological tradition (English reading). Under the arrangement of Professor Robin Wang, he had extensive communication with some professors from the School of Humanities at the luncheon, and introduced the humanities of Wuhan University and the traditional cultural center of China to them.

On March 6-7, I went to Las Vegas, Nevada, and visited Mr. Tang Liquan, honorary professor of Meitian University, and discussed some philosophical issues about the field with him.
